Sad Child No Face was recorded using the Cementimental philosophy of combining Dr. Age's homemade 'circuit bent' synth noise devices with whatever 'proper' instruments and equipment we can lay our grubby hands on.

Circuit bending is a process named and pioneered by artist Q. R. Ghazala. The basic premise is that by poking around inside battery-powered electronic toys, surprising sounds can be found, and with a little rewiring unorthodox electronic musical instruments created.
